10 Injured after Boeing 737 Skids Off Runway in Senegal

A Boeing 737-type passenger plane belonging to the TransAir company skidded off the runway for an unknown reason during takeoff at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Senegal at 01.14 local time to go to Bamako, the capital of Mali. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure reported that 10 people, including one pilot, among 85 people on board were injured and hospitalized. Flights at the airport were halted, and an investigation was launched into the accident.
