100 dead sea turtles wash up on the shore

The container ship MV X-Press Pearl which sank after burning for days in Sri Lanka  caused environmental pollution. 25 tons of nitric acid, other chemicals, and cosmetics spilled into the sea. It was stated that about 100 dead sea turtles washed up on the shore of Uswetikeiyyawa. Environmental scientists stated that the deaths were directly caused by the fire and the release of dangerous chemicals into the sea. Government officials also announced that the causes, which were thought to have led to the deaths, were temporarily confirmed and the investigation was continuing.
