10,000 germans take to streets on international climate day

Climate protests were held yesterday in many cities, especially Berlin, the capital of Germany on the occasion of the 13th International Day of Climate Action. The demonstration in front of the historical Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, which was organized under the slogan ‘Fridays for Future’, attracted nearly 10,000 protestors. Speakers on the stage set up in front of the Brandenburg Gate drew attention to the ever-increasing global warming and emphasized that politicians should take action as soon as possible to protect the climate and the world.

“People are dying; people are suffering. But despite this, sufficient precautions are not taken against the climate crisis. This problem is not taken seriously,” said one speaker.
