The 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye was celebrated in the Bodrum district of Muğla with the participation of thousands of citizens. During the celebration, 100 people played the folklore dance called ‘zeibek’, which is known to have been very much liked by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The dance show was followed by a breathtaking flight show performed by SOLO TURK .
“No one can question Atatürk’s principles and reforms or our love for him. Atatürk and his principles and reforms lie in the hearts of all of us. This year, we are celebrating the Republic at sea, in the air, and on land. We will keep celebrating it under any circumstances,” said Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras.
“We are in great excitement. As the jet just passed, all our national feelings were awakened. We had goosebumps. The whole of Bodrum is here,” said Nevra Uçak, a participant.
