11 Went Missing after Floods and Landslides in China

Heavy rains that started in the southern parts of China on the weekend have caused floods and landslides. Following the disaster, at least 6 people were injured and 11 others went missing. Authorities initiated a search operation in Shaoguan and Qingyuan cities, where the disappearances took place.

36 buildings were completely destroyed, 48 buildings were seriously damaged and at least 82,500 people were evacuated from their homes.
