The 12th BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup, organized by Bahçeşehir University International Sailing Club (BAUISC) in Türkiye’s Bosphorus, has started. In the race held on the Bosphorus, the world’s only natural sailing race viewing tribune, 50 sailboats started in front of BAU Beşiktaş South Campus.
“This event, which brings a more dynamic approach to the sailing community, is very important for us in terms of raising interest in sailing in our country. We have very valuable experienced sailors here. It is very valuable for us to bring them together in an event organized by BAU students and BAU graduates.
The Bosphorus stage is the last stage. After this, we will have another race tomorrow. And we will end this beautiful trophy with an award ceremony. I hope this stage will be a very enjoyable and pleasant race for everyone,” said BAUISC Board Member Mehmet Dinçer.
