An explosion occurred at a nickel facility belonging to the Indonesian Tsingshan Stainless Steel company on Indonesia’s Sulawesi Island. Thirteen people, 5 of whom were Chinese, died and 38 others were injured in the facility.
Authorities stated that the explosion was caused by some liquid accumulated in the furnace while workers were doing maintenance.
