15 packs of cocaine found on an Iranian passenger at Istanbul Airport

Airport police teams found cocaine on an Iranian passenger at Istanbul Airport in Turkey. The incident happened after an Iranian passenger named Farshid S. came to Istanbul Airport to go to his country on January 16. A body search was conducted on Farshid S, after he was evaluated as a risky passenger in the risk analysis assessment of the airport police teams. During the body search, 15 packs of substance wrapped with plastic wrap were detected hidden in small pockets in the passenger’s undershirt. In the examination, it was detected that there was 151.44 grams of cocaine hidden in the passenger’s undershirt. Following his procedures at Istanbul Airport, the passenger was arrested by the court that he brought, and sent to prison.
