In the 2021-2022 academic year at Fahrettin Ulusoy Primary School in Atakum district in Samsun, Turkey, 17 twin and 1 triplet students, including kindergarten and 4th grade students, have received their report cards. A total of 37 students received their report cards at the ceremony held at the school.
Stating that it is rare for so many twins and triplets to be in the same school, Atakum District Directorate of National Education Branch Manager Hayrettin Tekin said, “We have finished the 2021-2022 academic season without incident. There are 17 twin students and 1 triplet in the school.”
Stating that their teachers also have difficulties in recognizing themselves, 4th grade students Demir and Çınar Armalı said, “We have never seen so many twins together before. Our teachers also confused our names with each other during this learning process. The grades we got were the same, our report cards were the same.”
After the report card ceremony, the Principal of the School, Abdullah Kamil Seller and the teachers wished the students success in their future education life.
