19 injured after 12 vehicles crashed into each other in Japan

Severe fog, caused a chain traffic accident in the Chiba Prefecture of Japan. Due to the shortened visibility, 12 vehicles crashed into each other at 08:05 AM local time on an intercity highway in Kisarazu city in Chiba Prefecture. Being 5 of them slightly, total of 19 people were injured in the accident. Local officials said the injured don’t have life threatening injuries. Meanwhile, there was a short-term disruption in the traffic flow in the region due to the accident. A detailed investigation has launched to determine whether an element other than fog was effective in the accident.
