2 died after an ultralight trainer plane crashed in Iran

On Thursday, an ultralight trainer plane crashed in the city of Kashmar in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan province. 2 people in the plane lost their lives as a result of the crash. The Iran Civil Aviation Organization Accident Investigation Bureau General Director Hassan Rezaeifar stated that the ultralight plane crashed near Kashmar UltraLight Airport. “At around 01:10 PM local time, an ultralight trainer plane crashed during flight test at Kashmar UltraLight Airport. Unfortunately, the pilot and the technical manager were lost their lives. Airplane was carrying out a flight-test to prepare for its transfer to Arak International Airport from Kashmar UltraLight Airport,” Rezaeifar said. Rezaeifar stated that the investigation regarding the cause of the crash is continuing.
