At least 29 tornadoes were reported in the southeastern states of Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. Two people were killed and one was injured in the tornado that struck Alabama.
According to the US Storm Prediction Center, strong winds and stormy weather in the region will continue to be active today, causing a couple more tornadoes. The stormy weather will lose its impact once it moves southeast and reaches Georgia and Florida, according to reports.
