A 2-year-old girl fell into a 15-meter-deep well in the city of Mengzi, southeast of China’s Yunnan province. Firefighters used an excavator to take the child out of the dry well which has a diameter of just 40 centimeters. The firefighters went down the hole dug by the excavator and broke the well’s pipes, eventually leading to the girl’s safe rescue operation after 10 hours of hard work.
The girl was immediately taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
