20-day-old baby pulled out of rubble holding mother’s hair

Hatay was one of the districts most affected by the earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude, centered in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye. Approximately 60 hours after the quake, a baby boy was rescued from the rubble of a building in Hatay. The 20-day-old infant, named Kerem Ağırtaş, was holding a torn strand of his mother’s hair when he was found. He was taken to a medical facility and later transported to the hospital for treatment.
