200-year-old Ottoman blanket revealed by rug merchant

Edip Çevik, a rug merchant in Türkiye’s Siirt, revealed a blanket from the Ottoman period. The blanket, which is estimated to be 200 years old, should be exhibited in the city’s museum, according to Çevik. He said that many antique dealers wanted to reach him and buy the blanket, but he turned them down because it was a grandfather’s heirloom.
