2021 German Federal Elections held Partially Repeated in Berlin

By the decision of the Constitutional Court, the 2021 federal election in Germany was partially repeated in Berlin because it had been determined that some errors were made in papers and the voting continued a couple of hours after the determined time ended in the city. Approximately 500,000 people cast their votes again in the ballot boxes in schools or via mail.

It is not expected that the election results will affect the current government and will not have a serious impact on the current numerical structure of the Bundestag, said Green Party Federal Parliament Deputy Canan Bayram.
