These tiny components of nanotechnology have various applications, including in LED lights, television screens, and cancer tissue removal by surgeons. The Nobel Prize in chemistry is valued at approximately $1 million and is awarded annually by the Royal Academy of Sciences in honor of Alfred Nobel.
