In a deadly attack in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, armed militants stopped buses and trucks on a highway, checking passengers’ IDs before killing 23 people. The attackers, reportedly from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), claimed those killed were soldiers in civilian clothes. According to Najibullah Kakar, a senior official in the Musakhel district, the militants, numbering between 30 and 40, targeted vehicles traveling between Punjab and Balochistan, specifically identifying and shooting passengers from Punjab. Following the massacre, several vehicles were set on fire.
