25,000 evacuated from Germany’s largest theme park due to fire

A fire broke out at around 16:40 local time in Europa-Park, which is located in Rust in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and is the second most popular theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris. Three firefighters were reported to have been slightly injured, and about 25,000 visitors were evacuated from the park. Eyewitnesses said they heard explosions in the park several times before the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
