Three hundred drones lit up the night sky in China’s Shenzhen to welcome Meng Wanzhou, Huawei’s chief financial officer, on Saturday. She arrived on Saturday night on a charter flight organized by the Chinese government, after being detained in Canada for nearly three years.
Meng was detained by Canada on a US extradition request on December 1, 2018 at Vancouver International Airport.
