34 Detained in Protests After Knife Attack in Dublin

In the protests following the knife attack in front of a school in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, protesters set fire to 11 police vehicles, 3 buses, and 1 tram and damaged or looted 13 shops. A total of 34 people were detained. According to the police, many officers were injured, with one of them seriously, during the protests.

The protests started after a knife attack carried out by a foreigner in front of a school near Parnell Square, injuring 5 people, including 3 children.
