An Iranian state television stated that the protests, that started with the 22 years old Mahsa Amini’s death on September 16th, have currently resulted in the death of 35 in Iran. There are Basij militia affiliated to Revolutionary Guards and police officers amongst the people who lost their lives. However, an official statement about the death toll will be made by authorities.
The protests against the implementation of the “morality policing” and “headscarf code” are still being staged.
