Farmers in from all over Poland staged a protest against the European Green Deal, which aims to reduce carbon emissions, in Warsaw, upon the call of NSZZ Solidarnosc, the confederation of labor unions. Gathering in the Castle Square, approximately 35,000 people marched towards the Polish parliament at 12:00 local time. The crowd frequently chanted slogans against the EU and the government along the route, which was more than 4.5 kilometers long.
