370,000 Afghans in Pakistan Deported Back

More than 370,000 illegal immigrant Afghans returned to their homeland after the Pakistani government called on them to leave the country by November 1 due to an increase in armed attacks in the regions bordering Afghanistan in October. The World Food Programme plans to provide the leaving Afghans with a total of $27.5 million in aid in the coming months.

On the other hand, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees called for the halt of Afghans’ deportation, considering the harsh winter conditions.
