446 Afghan families receive aid from china and UNICEF

Over the previous week, 446 needy Afghan households in the country’s central Bamyan province received humanitarian aid and assistance from China and UNICEF. Each household received a package containing 50 kg each of rice and wheat from China, as well as a pocket of soap and a medical kit from UNICEF. Mawlawi Shakir Tahir, the provincial director for Natural Disaster Management and Humanitarian Affairs, thanked China and UNICEF for supporting Afghanistan at a time when the majority of Afghans are living in poverty for their assistance.
