5.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes China’s Tibet

A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Dingri region in Tibet’s Shigatse city on Thursday evening, according to the China Earthquake Network Center (CENC). The quake, recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers, caused no reported casualties.

Earlier, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake in the same region on January 7 left 126 dead and 188 injured, with significant structural damage.
