According to Disaster And Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Malatya’s Battalgazi district at 16.05. Following the jolt, which was felt in the surrounding provinces like Elazığ and Gaziantep, citizens took to the streets in panic. No damage has been reported.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 13,000 kilometers underground.
