5.6 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia: 20 dead

The 5.6 magnitude earthquake that struck the Cianjur district of Indonesia’s West Java province killed at least 20 people.

The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, was felt in Jakarta as well. While several business centers were evacuated, authorities urged the public to remain on the streets.

Following the earthquake, no tsunami warning was issued.
