5.8-magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia, with the epicenter in the West Java region, according to the Indonesia Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 104 kilometers, and there was no tsunami danger, the authorities said. The earthquake was felt in Sukabumi and around Jakarta, the capital. People fled their homes following the earthquake.

No casualties were reported in the earthquake, but some structures got damaged, according to reports.
