5 Dead, 32 Injured in Attack on “Harry Potter Castle” in Ukraine

 

In the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, a tragic incident unfolded in Odessa as Russia targeted the renowned law academy known as the “Harry Potter Castle.” The assault resulted in the loss of 5 lives and left 32 individuals wounded, with 8 in critical condition, according to the Ukrainian State Emergency Service. Due to the severity of the attack, 23 of the injured could not immediately receive medical attention. Emergency teams swiftly responded to the scene, comprising 15 units totaling 45 personnel, to address the ensuing fire on the building’s roof. Odessa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov condemned the attack, denouncing the perpetrators as “monsters” and “barbarians.” Ukrainian navy police officer Dmytro Pletenchuk identified the weapon used as the Iskander-M ballistic missile, underscoring the destructive nature of the assault.
