5 killed in Cyclone Mocha in Myanmar

Cyclone Mocha continues to take lives and cause chaos in Myanmar and Bangladesh. Local sources in Myanmar stated that at least 5 people have died in the cyclone-affected areas of the country and that 700 people have been injured in Sittwe, the capital of Arakan state. In more than 10 regions, the flood waters reached 1.5 meters, and people were waiting for help on roofs and high floors. In Bangladesh, about 300,000 people have been evacuated to safe areas, and dozens have been injured on Saint Martin Island. In total, 300 homes were either destroyed or were damaged.
