A container ship traveling from China’s Foshan city towards Guangzhou crashed into the Lixinsha Bridge on the Pearl River Delta at 05.30 local time, wrecking a part of the bridge and causing five vehicles to fall off. Two vehicles fell into the water, and three others fell onto the ship. According to the Chinese media, 2 people died, 1 crew member was injured, and 3 people went missing. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
