5th “Haribulbul” folklore festival kicks off in Azerbaijan’s Shusha

The pearl of Karabakh, Azerbaijan’s cultural capital, Shusha, which was liberated from Armenian occupation on November 8, 2020, is hosting the “Haribulbul” festival for the second time. President Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mihriban Aliyeva, and members of Azerbaijan’s culture and art community attended the festival’s opening ceremony, which was held for the fifth time this year. Aliyev and his wife, Mihriban Aliyeva, watched folklore dance groups from Azerbaijan and other countries perform.

The festival, which runs until May 14, features musicians, dance groups, and folklore dance groups from across Azerbaijan.
