Seven citizens attempting to take out their car from flooded park area in Pohang, South Korea died after getting stuck. Nine residents in total headed to the parking garage after the building manager warned them about the flood. Getting stuck in the location due to flooding, 7 out of 9 died. Rescue teams arriving at the building managed to rescue only 2 citizens.
Korea Meteorological Administration reported that the rainfalls, that is the highest received by Korea within the last 80 years, will continue for a couple of days.
