According to the daily report of Mexico’s National Center for Disaster Prevention, seven new eruptions occurred at Popocatepetl Volcano yesterday. The report also included that some settlements northeast of the volcano experienced significant ashfall following the eruptions.
According to scientists from the University of Manchester, Popocatepetl ranks fifth among the volcanoes that are expected to have a major eruption in the next few years.
