7 Pakistani dies in stampede occurred at flour queue

A total of 7 people in Pakistan’s Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces died as a result of the stampedes that occurred among the crowds who wanted to take the flour that the government gave out for free. Images on social media showed that people got on the flour trucks and fought to get some for themselves.

Flour prices in Pakistan, which is struggling with the worst food crisis in its history, have risen to 3,000 Pakistani rupees (approximately 10 euros) per package.
