72 kg of drugs seized in Kyrgyzstan and Russia

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that 72 kilos of drugs were seized during an operation against an Afghan drug gang that transports illegal drugs to foreign countries in Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Russian law enforcement officers apprehended and detained a 34-year-old Russian citizen who allegedly organized the drug shipment. According to the statement, 68 kilograms of Afghan hashish and 4 kilograms of heroin were found hidden inside the facade cladding during a search conducted in a warehouse in Novosibirsk, Russia.

An investigation regarding the other two people having links to the gang has begun.
