Clashes broke out between two rival gangs, the Jalisco Next Generation Cartel and the Michoacan Family, in different cities in the Mexican state of Michoacan. A total of eight people died in the clashes. Cartel members set fire to many vehicles and blocked some roads.
Security forces detained two people and confiscated many cars, weapons, and hand grenades in Zinapecuaro. An investigation into the conflicts has been launched.
