Heavy rains caused floods in more than 100 cities in the Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul state. Authorities announced that 8 people died, 21 people went missing. More than 1,400 people were evacuated.
State Governor Eduardo Leite stated that teams are working to locate the missing and ensure security in areas at risk.
