Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command Forces conducted an operation against a shack that turned into illegal gun workshop in Istanbul, Turkey. The operation conducted after gendarmerie got an information that suggests, owner of shack buys commercial blank guns form market and converting them into actual firearm by changing their barrels to shoot live ammunition. With that information, gendarmerie followed the shack and its owner closely. Later on, teams pushed the start the operation after saw the owner enter the shack. On the operation, teams find out that the owner turned the shack into workshop via setting up special machinery to manufacture blank gun converted firearms. Also, gendarmerie seized 8 blank guns with changed barrels, 3 blank guns that prepped to be converted together with machines and tools used in the conversion process. Meanwhile the sack owner taken into custody then arrested by judicial authorities and transferred to prison later on.
