A 5.9 magnitude earthquake shakes Pakistan’s Balochistan, at least 20 killed

At least 20 people were killed and 300 wounded in a 5.9 magnitude earthquake with a shallow depth of fifteen kilometers that struck Harnai, Balochistan province of Pakistan. According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), most of the deceased were reported to be children. Local sources suggest that at least 70 houses were collapsed. A medical emergency was declared in Ketta Civil Hospital and all doctors and health personnel were called for duty.
