A dolphin has washed up on the beach during a storm in the tourism region Belek neighborhood located at Serik district in Antalya, Turkey. Residents of the neighborhood who saw the incident immediately rushed to the aid of the dolphin. Meanwhile, the dolphin was pulled towards the water and released back into the sea by the resident.
“I saw fish while I was working on the beach. When I went near it, I realized that it was a dolphin. It was standing on the side. It was alive and 1.5 meters long. I took off my clothes and pulled it towards the sea. I waited until it was gone,” said İhsan Gökgöz, who made the dolphin return back to the sea.
