An electrical autonomous drone taxi which is developed by Chinese company Ehang took off with two passengers at the Fourth Digital China Summit in southeast China’s Fuzhou city. Passengers only need to press one button to instruct the vehicle for a set destination. 4G and 5G technologies are also applied to ensure smooth communication between the air taxi and the ground control center.
