A police station set on fire in Russia

An unidentified person set fire to a police station on Pionerskaya Street in Komsomolsk-on-Amur city in the Khabarovsk region of Russia. According to Russian media, the suspect first tried to enter the police station with the gasoline he brought with him. The suspect poured gasoline on the door of the police station, after he couldn’t enter the station because the doors were locked. Later on, the suspect set fire to the police station and then disappeared. The moments when the police station surrendered to the flames were recorded by the people around with a mobile phone camera. Meanwhile, the 50-year-old suspect caught in a short time and interrogated by the Russian police. While it isn’t known yet why the suspect carried out the attack, security measures have been increased in the area.
