A turkish artist turned waste into sculptures

Mervan Altınorak is a mosaic artist and a sculptor living in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay, Turkey. He turned metal and plastic waste into more than 50 sculptures. Altınorak, whose fame spread abroad, finished the giraffe statue ordered from Belgium and is working to complete the elephant sculpture.

He stated that he is very happy to contribute to both art and economy with sustainable waste.
