Ahmet Demiray, who lives in Germany, found the solution to seek support from Turkey when he couldn’t receive adequate health care after a tumor was detected in his liver. Demiray didn’t wait long after he applied the Turkish Consulate General in Frankfurt to be transferred. Only 2 days after his application, Demiray was transferred to Turkey by an ambulance plane. Demiray made a statement at Kassel airport before the boarded on the ambulance plane. “May Allah bless our President and everyone who helped me. May Allah give strength to our country. They saved me from these, thank you very much,” Demiray said.
Demiray’s daughter Reyhan said, “We are sending my father to Turkey with Allah’s willing. Fortunately, they sent us an ambulance plane. I applied to Turkey because they said that it cannot be treated in Germany and there is no treatment. I would like to thank all the officials who helped and our President,” in her speech during her father’s transfer to the ambulance plane. Also, Demiray’s son Deniz Mustafa Demiray said, “May Allah bless our country. Our heads are high. We gave a good answer to Germany. I hope my father will be cured in Turkey.”
Meanwhile, Turkey’s Consul General in Frankfurt Erdem Tunçer, made a statement on the subject. Tunçer told that after the request was forwarded to Turkey, the Ministry of Health sent an ambulance plane within 2 days. Consul General Tunçer pointed out that Turkey’s transfer of patients by plane is not a new example. “Turkey has always aided its citizens living in Europe and other countries who have health problems. I hope the treatment of Ahmet Demiray will be positive and he will recover his health,” Tunçer said.
