Air Force Planes Collide in Italy, One Pilot Injured

Three Italian Air Force planes from the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team collided mid-air during a demonstration flight over Pantelleria Island. All aircraft made emergency landings, with one veering off the runway.

Two pilots escaped unharmed, while one was hospitalized with a suspected broken leg. The cause of the accident is under investigation, though local media suggest a possible bird strike. The aircraft sustained significant damage.
