The Japan Self-Defense Forces (SDF) held an airborne exercise under the scenario of an invasion attempt on the country’s remote islands. In addition to 70 US soldiers, 30 soldiers from Australia and England participated in the exercise, which was held at the training ground of the 1st Airborne Brigade in Chiba province, for the first time.
Japan’s Ministry of Defense announced that the exercise aims to strengthen cooperation with its allies within the framework of the country’s National Security Strategy that received approval last month.
