Airline companies suspended their flights to Ukraine

The crisis between Russia and Ukraine began to affect air transportation to Ukraine. Especially Germany-based airline company Lufthansa, airline companies such as Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines announced that they suspended their flights to Ukraine between February 21 and February 28. The companies stated that whether the flights will continue or not will be evaluated according to the general situation of the Ukraine at the end of February. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine stated that the airliners of Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will organize the necessary flights instead of the canceled flights, so that the passengers do not suffer from the situation.
