Alternative for Deutschland Takes Second Place in EP Elections

According to the unofficial results of the ongoing European Parliament elections, the German far-right party, Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) overtook the Social Democratic Party of Germany by gaining 6 more seats in the parliament.

The far-right part currently has 15% of the votes, while the alliance of Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and the Christian Social Union in Bavaria leads with 30% of the votes.
